Terms of Service

These terms apply to clinics that use smile.krd and to anyone who visits smile.krd or our Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accounts. By using smile.krd you agree to them.

1. The service

smile.krd is online software for dental clinics: appointments, patient records, dental charts, X-rays, prescriptions, payments, staff and a clinic website, in English, Arabic and Kurdish. What each plan includes and costs is shown on smile.krd and agreed when the clinic subscribes.

2. Your account

The clinic owner decides who gets an account and is responsible for everything done under the clinic's accounts. Keep passwords and PINs private, and remove staff who leave. If you think an account has been misused, tell us straight away at hello@smile.krd.

3. Acceptable use

Do not:

• try to reach another clinic's data or get around the system's security;
• upload harmful files, or attack or overload the service;
• use smile.krd for anything illegal or to send spam;
• store patient information you have no right to hold;
• copy, resell or rent out the software.

We may suspend an account that does any of these.

4. Clinical decisions and records

smile.krd is a tool for records and clinic management. It does not give medical or dental advice. The clinic and its dentists are responsible for every clinical decision, diagnosis, prescription and treatment, and for the accuracy of what they record. Check important information, such as allergies and doses, before relying on it. The same applies to answers from an AI app connected to the clinic.

5. Your data

The clinic owns its data. How we handle it is explained in our Privacy Policy.

6. Payment

Subscriptions are paid in advance, as agreed with the clinic. If a payment is overdue, we may pause access until it is paid. The clinic's data is kept while access is paused.

7. Availability

We work to keep smile.krd running and its data backed up, but we provide it as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or free of errors. Maintenance, problems at our providers or internet outages can interrupt it.

8. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, smile.krd is not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit, lost business or interruption. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what the clinic paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

9. Ending the service

A clinic can stop using smile.krd at any time by telling us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or is not paid, with notice where we can. After an account closes, the clinic can ask for a copy of its data and for its deletion.

10. Our posts and channels

Videos, text and designs we publish belong to smile.krd. You are welcome to share our posts, but do not re-upload or edit them as your own. Some replies to messages and comments are automatic; they are information, not a contract or a price quote. Nothing we post is dental or medical advice. Do not use our channels for spam, abuse, or other people's personal or medical information; we may remove comments that do.

Content we publish to TikTok is also subject to TikTok's Terms of Service.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we tell clinics before a significant change takes effect.
